About DORCE Sourcing

DORCE provides independent procurement coordination in China. This site is separate from the original brand and has no authorized dealership relationship. Buyers work with us to organize supplier comparisons and the records that support purchasing decisions.

Our procurement mission

Our aim is to make each offer readable against one project brief. Start with the installed use and the site engineer’s design basis. Ask the supplier to return drawings, a price schedule and a list of departures from the brief as distinct records.

The service covers supplier matching, quote comparison, sample and inspection coordination, consolidation and export support. The selected supplier makes the product and supplies its project records. Licensed professionals and the local authority handle design acceptance and approvals.

How we track supplier scope

Traceability starts before award. Record which legal entity issues the quote, which facility would fulfill the order and which subcontractors are included. At purchase order stage, carry those references forward with the relevant drawing revision.

A management-system credential may help screen suppliers when its scope and site align with the offer. Material, joint and wall assembly evidence still needs review against the purchased specification.

Working rules for supplier review

Finish defined by measure

Record a specified finish with its measure and location. Check a coating designation on cold-formed members separately from paint thickness on fabricated steel and ask how each system is repaired after cutting.

First-unit inspection

Write the first-unit measurement method into the inspection plan. Define support positions and the datums before comparing dimensions across later modules.

Code follows the site

Capture the code edition named by the local engineer. Compare supplier calculation scope against that requirement and log dependencies such as the geotechnical report or a proposed foundation change.

Scope by interface

List factory preinstallation, field works and commissioning separately. For each interface, record which bidder supplies the part, which contractor connects it and whose record closes the line.

Roles in a supplier review

A sourcing review may involve four different workstreams. The buyer can assign each to a named party and record which open points prevent a fair quotation comparison.

Structural review desk with a frame model on screen

Structural review

The local structural reviewer checks the load path, member grades and module-to-foundation detail. If a bidder changes a braced line, request the revised reactions before comparing foundation costs.

Welding bay with procedure sheets

Weld and material traceability

The supplier identifies heat numbers and the procedure applicable to each weld. The inspection coordinator can arrange a witness against the approved plan and record deviations for disposition.

Envelope samples of three sandwich panel cores

Envelope and fire strategy

The project envelope reviewer checks core density, center-of-panel U-value and heat loss at edges. Review the complete wall specimen when fire performance drives the selection.

Packing yard with flat-pack cassettes

Packing and route survey

The forwarder checks package weights and container fit. The haulier verifies route height from the module box, trailer deck and measured overhead restrictions.

A coating choice depends on actual exposure and maintenance access. Request the treatment for cut edges, bolted joints and hidden faces alongside the main finish. Record a repair method so the site crew can price it.

Write to the sourcing desk

Use the inquiry form to send your project summary to the sourcing desk. State your role and which part of the supplier package you need help comparing.

You can also ask for a blank scope checklist before you have a formal RFQ. Describe the site and delivery window so the reply can focus on the records you need first.
